For those of you who have been trying to look at a lot of the stuff I did for GamersUniverse.com I must apologise. Sadly, the site doesn’t exist any more in any shape or form and has been swallowed up by the internet again. All the links to this site are now dead and I haven’t gotten round to replacing them with the original texts. Thanks for checking them out anyway though.

After a fairly long period of inactivity due to illness, I am almost back at full fitness and ready to start typing again till my fingers fall off. Expect some new additions soon.
Nidzumi.com: Dawn of War II Review
Let’s face it, I was going to love this no matter what it was like. The thousands of Space Marines in my loft wouldn’t let me not like it.
Laying my bias for the Warhammer 40K universe aside, I approached Dawn of War II with the professional attititude it deserved and I was not disappointed. In fact, it was hard for me to stop writing about it.
Nevertheless, I did manage to stop writing and you can read what I wrote here.
GamePlasma.com: Disgaea 3: The Absence of Justice Review
I am pretty much obsessed with Japan, especially when it comes to games. They have a unique approach to making games that we just never see in the West. Disgaea 3 is probably one of the saner fringe titles to come out of Japan in a while.

GamePlasma.com: Elven Legacy Preview
Having been locked in the seventh level of hell for a good few weeks now I have finally good my escape – as far as the sixth level. Anyway now I can start posting some links again. The most recent work I have been doing is on PC games for both of my main sites.
After a bit of faffing around I got to play about with Paradox’s forthcoming fantasy turn-based strategy Elven Legacy. It is a very pretty TBS actually and might just convince some RTS fans to cut the caffeine intake and try something a little slower.

If you read any of this at all I am happy to announce that my writing has found permanent homes on both sides of the Atlantic. Koch Media kindly sent me an advance copy of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. It is a bit of a gem buried deep within the Christmas release schedule. It is just available on PC just now but there are PS3 and Xbox 360 versions due out early next year. Check it out here.
AllAboutTheGames.co.uk: Manhunt 2 Review Wii
After the furore surrounding the banning and subsequent approval for release of Manhunt 2 earlier this year you would expect a backlash when the game was released.
Surprisingly, Manhunt 2 slipped out quietly on Hallowe’en with not-so-much as a rumble. The Wii version is actually rather good. Check out my review here on AllAboutTheGames.co.uk.
