48. Still Seething

I have managed to calm down a bit after yesterday but item one on yesterday’s list still bugs me.

The school holidays always bring the problem of parents and games ratings to the forefront of my mind given that I end up dealing with the problem day-in-day-out.

I just can’t understand why parents ignore ratings. I had a mum that traded in Left 4 Dead 2 for Left 4 Dead and Gears of War for her son who could only have been about 13 and I asked her ‘Are you okay with these games being rated 18?’ and she just didn’t even care.

Am I the only one that this frustrates?

  1. In two or three years when he’s out of control and has no concept of the real world she MIGHT reconsider.Of course then it will be to late.I agree with you a whole lot more attention and respect should be paid to those ratings.
